The path of Scitke reflects an effort to turn scientific curiosity into an enduring communication project with structure, direction, and public reach.
2017
Scitke is the result of Prof. Dr. Marcilio M. dos Santos' passion and fascination with science and technology. The initiative began when he started posting scientific and technological material on his Facebook wall, then created a private Facebook group on January 20, 2017, followed by the public Scitecknowledge page on March 20, 2017 to broaden access to what he was sharing.
2019
After seeing the project grow, Prof. Dr. Marcilio M. dos Santos decided to transform the idea into something broader, more tangible, and more impactful for other people. That decision led to the creation of Scitke, LLC on June 25, 2019, a name derived from Scitecknowledge.
